#23 Week 9: final posting

Wow! I have finally completed all the discovery exercises.

If you are a great computer fan, you will find it very interesting during the discovery tour. Otherwise, you really need to struggle to complete the exercises. In either case, you did learn a lot as you can keep yourself updated with the cyber world.

#22 Week 9 'e-book'

I have just gone through the discovery exercise. I notice that the e-books offered by the free site do not cover current bestseller! It may be due to copyright or other issues. Yet they are still worth to read as the list of e-books are of high quality. The search criteria can still be considered to be quite user-friendly. Yet you really need broadband facility to ensure a speedy download as well as to make sure that your computer or other electronic devices are well equipped.

I have downloaded my favorite book 'A tale of two cities' by Charles Dickens. It only took less than a minute to finish the download in plain text. 'Zip' option is also provided. Audio book format is available for this title as well. Just see below for details for the plain text download.

End of the Project Gutenberg EBook of A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens*** END OF THIS PROJECT GUTENBERG EBOOK A TALE OF TWO CITIES ******** This file should be named 98.txt or 98.zip *****This and all associated files of various formats will be found in: http://www.gutenberg.net/9/98/

#17 Week 7 Social Networking

It is amazing to see the 'communication' power in the cyber world. We can say that they are both inclusive and exclusive. Whoever has signed up in such websites can make their site accessible only to their friends or the friends of their friends. You can make yourself very visible by sharing with others what is happening. Or, you can express yourself freely with photos and video. Very dynamic and interesting.

Librarything #7

I now have my 'own library' after signing up with the librarything and added some new books in it. The book shelf there has only covered a few of my recent readings. That's why it does not look so impressed. The following are the links to my 'own library'.
